Your UCAS personal statement can form an important part of your application process. Some medical schools do not study the personal statements, whilst others rate its value highly and refer to it at interview. Writing the personal statement can be extremely difficult. Putting across your desires passionately but professionally, reflecting on your work experience, even just getting started can be difficult. This year we are able to offer you the chance to obtain feedback on your personal statement from
Phyllida Roe, who not only successfully applied to study medicine and is now nearing the end of her medical degree, but also has a 15 year history of careers advice, including 9 years as Head of Careers at an independent school!
For only £90, you can receive up to three lots of feedback on your personal statement. We can receive and feedback via email or post; whichever you prefer. Phyllida works on each individual statement for about 3 hours and we doubt that there is anyone in the country who is as uniquely qualified as she is. We're very lucky to have her.
As soon as you book this service, we will send you information on how to write your personal statement. For a more extensive account about how to write your personal statement, the chapter in our
book is a very useful resource.
The UCAS application deadline is October 15th. In order to guarantee that you receive three lots of feedback, please ensure that we receive your first draft by August 1st. Similarly, please have your second draft with us by end August, and the third draft by end September.
We will feedback in the order in which the statements are received.
However we guarantee feedback within one week.
